☀️ What does "Diwata" mean ?

Before the Philippines existed, it was a land full of rituals called "Diwata," involving commemorating the dead and honoring their stories as they journeyed to the afterlife facing monsters and spirits where life continues to be tested.

INSPIRATION?

When I was third year in college, my dad died. Devasted but I had to go on, he supported me in my dreams and this became therapeutic to honor him and represent the Filipino people’s pre-colonial legacy.

A lot of people wanted it to become commercial but I also want to grow more as an animator and storyteller first. It takes a lot of patience to master animation and also lead a team with your vision.
